Our Infant/Family CPR & Safety Workshop teaches you what to do if the unthinkable happens. This 3 hour course focuses on accident prevention, basic family first aid, as well as infant & child CPR & relief of choking. Great for expectant parents, experienced parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, babysitters & childcare providers.

- Car Seat Safety
- Strangulation & Suffocation Prevention
- Choking Prevention & Relief of Choking in Infant, Children & Adults
- Drowning & Water Safety
- Falls & Signs of Concussion
- Poisoning
- Burns
- Dehydration & Overheating
- Allergies & Anaphylactic Shock
- Fevers & Febrile Seizures
- Infant/Child CPR (Review Adult CPR too)
Cost of class is $55+HST/Adult & Includes a Comprehensive Handout.
*Babies are welcome, but we ask that you make alternative care arrangements for toddlers. Most participants find they concentrate better and participate more fully without their little one present.
**The class comes with a completion card, but not a certification card as attendees are not tested on material and do not need to pay for a textbook or registration with the Heart & Stroke. All CPR & Choking techniques are the same as a certified program. Certified CPR courses for the workplace (Level C) or for Health Care Providers (HCP) are available.
