Would you know what to do in an Emergency?

Care's Infant/Family CPR + Safety Workshop teaches you what to do if the unthinkable happens. This 3 hour course focusses on accident prevention, basic family first aid, CPR, and Choking. Perfect for expectant parents, experienced parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, babysitters & childcare providers.

Class Content Includes:

  • Safe Sleep

  • Basic Car Seat Safety

  • Choking Prevention & Relief of Choking (All Ages)

  • Drowning & Water Safety

  • Head Injuries & Signs of Traumatic Brain Injury

  • Poisoning

  • Burns

  • Dehydration & Overheating

  • Allergies & Anaphylactic Shock

  • Fevers & Febrile Seizures

  • Infant/Child CPR (Review Adult CPR too)

Grab your spot! $60+HST per Adult. Includes a comprehensive handout and follow up email support. Address in Wilson Road to be emailed to each registrant before workshop. Ample Free parking is available.

**The class comes with a completion card when requested, but not a certification card as attendees are not tested on material and do not need to pay for a textbook or registration with the Heart & Stroke. All CPR & Choking techniques are the same as a certified program. Certified CPR courses for the workplace (Level C) or for Health Care Providers (HCP) are available. CPR for the General Public (Heartsaver – Level C)

This 4-hour course teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children and infants, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) with adults and children. This course requires testing for completion. Renewal courses are also available.

Cost of class is $100 and includes Heart & Stroke Foundation CPR Manual, Registration & Certificate.

CPR for Health Care Professionals (HCP)

BLS for health care providers is a 4-5 hour course that teaches health care professionals how to recognize certain life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking. This course requires testing for completion. Renewal courses are also available.

Cost of class is $100 and includes Heart & Stroke Foundation CPR Manual & Certificate.
