Care completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & History at Dalhousie University in 2004 & a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery at McMaster University in 2009. She practiced as a Registered Midwife until giving birth to her first child in 2011. Currently on hiatus from practicing midwifery, she is focused on raising her family and offering support to the birthing community and new families through research-based education.

As a Registered Midwife Care helped hundreds of families prepare for their new babies, and gained tremendous insight into the kind of support, services and education parents need during this vital time. 

Care has extensive experience preparing for hospital births & home births, including water births. She is a certified Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS instructor, Babywearing Educator, Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, holds certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation & ALARM and has completed the Infant Mental Health Community Training with The Hospital for Sick Children. 

In the Community

Care regularly teaches virtual classes including: CPR WorkshopsStarting Solids Workshops, Prenatal ClassesParent Prep ClassesBabywearing Workshops. She also offers many Private Services including Registry Support & Customized Classes. 

Care is now settling into life in Prince Edward County, but she was a very active member in her previous West End community. She hosted a monthly West End Babywearing Meetup, Organized the Bloor West Moms Group Meetup & Owned Movies for Mommies at The Humber Cinemas & Queensway Cineplex.
